As the leader of our Program Operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence at scale and ensuring the success and quality of our tutoring programs. You will lead the teams that serve as the bridge between our two sets of clients: customers, the schools or families who have invested in tutoring, and our Teacher-Tutors, talented educators who provide the tutoring. The Role
As Sr. Director of Program Operations you will:
- Be accountable for everything in regard to program execution with a focus on ensuring that every student is receiving best-in-class high dosage tutoring
- Lead with a people-first and data-driven mentality; continuously identifying efficiency improvement projects that invest in employee growth and program delivery
- Hire, train, and support Program Operations Managers who are responsible for the success of individual programs as well as leading and mentoring Teacher-Tutors (TT) during the program
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for improvement related to program delivery
- Provide data-driven feedback with product to identify solutions to improve efficiency in program operations, TT experience, and student experience
- Have a passion for identifying problems and designing innovative scalable solutions to fix them
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in operations within services or technology companies
- Proven leadership and management capabilities
- Experience with workforce management preferred
- Experience in a fast-growing early stage company preferred
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience working with Product teams
- Self-drive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly comfortable with ambiguity and ability to shift priorities as needed
