POSITION OVERVIEW

We're seeking an environmentally conscious, superstar who loves to engage people and become a trusted advisor. Further, we are looking for a teammate to share success with, as ReCollect continues to grow and work with our SMB Private business haulers on their waste reduction and recycling initiatives.

As a Waste Reduction and Recycling Account Executive, you will interface with amazing people around North America with a mission of increasing recycling, reducing waste and improving services for millions of people. You will be responsible for qualifying and closing new business, driving referral business, maintaining a forecast and sales pipeline, and ultimately meeting sales targets.
You'll have great peers to work with – folks who will understand the challenges we face and will help you grow and get where we need to be. Our Sales team is geographically distributed and has many, many years of telecommuting experience and working in drama-free, highly productive teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, prioritize and organize your pipeline for maximum efficiency in meeting targets.
  • Learn /Leverage product features, values, marketing and others.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in the solid waste and recycling industry.
  • Follow, maintain, and continually improve the lead generation process.
  • Work with marketing to develop educational campaigns designed to promote engagement.
  • Achieve/ exceed personal and territory-based sales targets.
  • Ensure all sales activities are recorded, tracked and accurately.
  • Work in close collaboration with product, customer success and executive management teams to maximize value and success.
  • Demonstrate strong personal communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility, and trust.
  • Identify trends, market insights and common objections.
  • Consult with the VP of Sales on sales strategy and pricing.
  • Be a productive and helpful teammate
  • Client and business travel is expected - estimated around 30%.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of direct sales experience in software and/or IT services/technology environment.
  • Experience selling to governmental organizations, RFPs and cooperative purchasing programs.
  • University/College Diploma related to the solid waste industry is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in new business acquisition related to SasS and/or IT services/technology.
  • Consistent over-achievement of sales revenue targets.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CRMs (Hubspot/ SalesForce).
  • Comfort with spreadsheets (Excel/ Google Sheets).
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize time and maintain attention to detail.
