Product

The Product team at Nice Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Data Analyst. In this role, you’ll wrangle our data, nurture our data analysis program, and partner with leaders to interpret and apply data that will drive us forward. As a Product team - made up of product managers, designers, researchers, and data analysts - we believe in succeeding as a team and setting measurable goals to guide our work together. We will cultivate your career through the investment of time and materials in the discovery of your career path. 

What you’ve done before:

  • You have significant experience with healthcare data and tools, including medical records, claims datasets, ICD-10 codes, CPT codes, and groupers (more than 3 years)
  • You are familiar with the role of data on product teams, and in a startup or midsize business
  • You have strong expertise in at least Python or R, as well as SQL
  • You excel at your role by seeking to understand the business and its users
  • You want to work on a wide range of problems and questions

What you’ll do at Nice:

  • Work with medical record and claims datasets to accurately gage the efficacy of various care models and interventions
  • Become the caretaker of our existing datasets - keep them tidy and easy to leverage
  • Transform and mine our data in support of key questions and decision points
  • Nurture the development and iteration of our KPIs and other important metrics
  • Collaborate with our internal engineers to capture data thoroughly and thoughtfully
  • Build clean and informative dashboards and visualizations
  • Spend time learning from and alongside other leaders at Nice
  • Proactively derive and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Support key product decisions by investigating and representing data throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Define best practices around how we capture data, how we organize it and how we use it
  • Ensure the privacy and security of our data in collaboration with IT leadership
  • Consult on methods of data collection and experimentation
  • Actively mentor other analysts on the team
  • Support the direction and prioritization of other analysts’ work (pulling reports, visualization, monthly reporting preparation).
