Summary 
Powin's Software Engineering team is seeking a Project Manager to help deliver our industry leading system level products to market on time, in budget and meeting specifications. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director Engineering Project Management. The Project Manager will be a key member of Powin's team and will partner with product managers, electrical, electronic, mechanical engineers, QA engineers and software engineers to manage projects to business schedules, goals, and overall business objectives.

Job Details

  • Manage multiple, concurrent product development projects and completed in a timely manner and within budget
  • Coordinate all aspects of project planning and execution including scope, schedule, budget, technical resources, and communications
  • Work with product management and engineering to capture requirements and ensure the project meets all requirements as part of the design
  • Coordinate software deliverables with hardware availability
  • Manage schedule and design change requests to understand impact to project
  • Provide regular status reports to customers, management, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 5-10 years' experience managing New Product Development projects required 
  • Experience with complex product development involving mechanical and electrical systems 
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate, verbally and written, technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills 
  • Experience integrating Agile with Waterfall project management methodologies 
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle 
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline 
  • PMI-ACP certification preferred
