As a Senior/Lead QA Engineer, you will be responsible for leading our quality assurance efforts by building company test strategy and infrastructure for our products working very close with Engineers, Designers and Product Managers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within company to discuss and understand requirements on products to ensure high software quality by creating and executing effective test strategy.
- Reviewing product documents (stories, design docs, prds etc.) and collaborate with product team to plan test activities on time.
- Developing efficient test cases to provide good coverage mostly for mobile / web app testing, API automation testing, as well as manual testing.
- Monitoring and reporting of performed test activities constantly.
- Preparing well-structured test plans and test cases including estimation, prioritization, and planning.
- Taking an active role in CI/CD and release management.
- Ensuring the final product meets product requirements and customer expectations.
- Willingness to take ownership of problems, solve them and strong doer attitude.
- Mentoring the team especially junior engineers and build engineering culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 4+ years of experience in software testing and QA
- 2+ years of experience in mobile and frontend test automation frameworks such as Selenium/Cypress/Detox/Appium/Espresso/Jest/Rest Assured
- Experience in test automation of REST APIs considering contract and integration perspectives
- Familiarity with testing cloud native micro service and serverless applications is a plus
- Experience in CI/CD Pipelines and version control system (Git)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
