- Design and build web applications and microservices
- Maintain complex web applications through refactoring and optimization
- Find and deliver the right solution for the clients' problems
- Perform code reviews and share knowledge with the team
- Take care of releases and monitor production health
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 5 years of Python web development experience
- Profound knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with agile development
- Great communication skills and commitment to the team
- Fluent in English
Bonus points:
- Experience with large code bases and high-availability web platforms
- Experience with full-text search (Solr, Elastic Search)
- Knowledge of modern front-end development practices
- Proficiency in Jira
- Fluent in German
