Title: Senior Developer, Full Stack, React/React Native – Web and Mobile
Yup, this is a coding focused role, a unique opportunity to make your mark on an expanding and passionate tech team!
So, the basics: Are you a skilled, experienced and passionate senior developer with a hankering for React, React Native, and NodeJS? Are you a Typescript Fan? Do you like Redux? Do you use JEST? Can you mentor junior developers, perform effective code reviews on a colleague's pull request? Can you get an API running in AWS, work with microservices to build an event-driven backend? Can you grok a key-value nosql database? Do you want to research and bring in new tools and technologies to keep our tech stack up to date? Want to work with GraphQL? Role Technical Skills and Experience Summary
Note: Not everything below is a must have, but generally we are looking for:
- Expert skills in either React, React Native (Ability to work on both Web and Mobile Projects)
- Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
- GraphQL/Apollo/REST API experience (GraphQL/Apollo is a plus)
- Able work in a remote friendly, modern mac based web-dev environment, with cloud based DevOps, Containers, Git tools (gitlab, GitHub), js package managers, linters, VSCode, Slack and Google Workspace based office collaboration tools
- Mobile development experience
- Unit Testing experience
- Microservice Architecture experience
- Mobile, Web, Cloud Experience (AWS is a plus)
- Able to code a responsive front end from a Figma or other UI Design mockup
- Agile/Scrum experienced. Able to ask the right questions to a PM or BA when something sounds wrong to the dev team.
- 5+ years of coding exp. (a little less is ok, but this is a senior role)
- SQL/NoSQL database skills
