The Sr. Digital Designer will have a strong understanding of conceptual, digital, social, and visual design. This role will lead the digital and CRM efforts of ILIA’s 360 campaigns, product launches, site refreshes and own the creation of all digital assets including email & web. In addition, this role will work closely with our UX team to ensure design systems are adhered to and evolved as needed to improve, innovate & optimize.
This role will report directly to the Sr. Art Director, Digital and Content.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop design templates across multiple media platforms such as email, social media, and website assets that are consistent with the brand.
Concept and collaborate with Creative and eCommerce teams to ensure design work exceeds expectations.
Work closely with the Content Art Director, UX Designer, and Copy team to lead the design craft and execute the creative vision.
Exhibit a pixel-perfect attention to detail - looking after every point, font, space, and color to make sure that it adds value and delight to the customer's experience.
Manage and maintain the quality of design throughout all phases of the project.
Participate in Creative briefings and partner closely with the Digital eCommerce and Marketing teams to understand digital 360 campaign needs, including social, website, and email design.
Center designs around the consumer: identifying who will use our product, what they will use it for, and what value they will gain.
Ensure alignment and consistency of brand look and feel, standards, and voice across digital customer touch points.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or design-related equivalent
5+ years’ experience in 360 design (i.e. agency/design studio experience specific to the fashion/beauty industry)
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe XD), Figma, Google Suite.
Must have a strong portfolio that exemplifies a broad range of concept development and execution for digital.
Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Asana
Excellent writing and communications experience
Motion design experience is a plus.
Role is remote but preference for candidates located in Southern California or the Pacific Time Zone
