We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer - Salary 65k - 75k dependent on experience - Remote within the UK.

 

What you'll be doing

  • To be a contact point and subject matter expert with respect to our AWS infrastructure
  • Build, monitor, and improve CI/CD/CT pipelines
  • Working in the DevOps Team alongside high profile specialists
  • Collaborate with software development teams to automate and enhance product development and release processes
  • Taking part in different projects to make infrastructure more reliable and secure
  • Participating in creating different internal automation and integrations
  • Making improvements in logging and monitoring solutions
  • Building, monitoring, and deploying microservices that are hosted on Kubernetes

 

What you'll bring to the role

  • Proven experience in DevOps/SRE, build/release/deployment automation, etc
  • Past experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Java, etc
  • Excellent working experience with modern orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus or CloudWatch.
  • Experience with EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana) stack.
  • Comfortable with one or more scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, PowerShell, etc
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with complex deployments using continuous delivery and continuous integration
  • Expertise with the development toolchain such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Slack, Docker, etc
  • Previous experience with Windows Server and Linux System administration
  • Understanding of Agile principles and DevOps culture
  • Responsibility, self-discipline, and the ability to get the job done
  • Fluent spoken and written English

Nice to haves

  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as StackStorm
  • Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes
