WHO WE NEED

Personify Corp is looking for a Junior Security Engineer who will work as part of the Engineering department and provide the security overview of the products from Personify portfolio. These products are hosted in AWS, using different tech slacks, i.e. Linux, Java, Docker containers or Microsoft (Windows, IIS, .NET, SQL server). In addition, the Security Engineer will work with our development teams and educate them on security aspects and best practices.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

You will work closely with senior engineers to learn the security for applications from the Personify portfolio, review the state of application/ infrastructure security and collaborate on further directions. In addition, you will work closely with senior engineers to ensure Personify security compliance is maintained. 

  • Work across the different products to identify gaps with security best practices.
  • Participate in strategic and tactical roadmaps/plans to address issues identified, including people, processes, and technologies required.
  • Communicate with the software development teams and administrators on vulnerabilities and remediation.
  • Communicate with the security auditors. Security compliance requests answers from our customers and vendors.
  • Monitor compliance to information security and data privacy policies and other applicable policies that guarantee our compliance with PCI standard.
  • Conducting readiness assessments against PCI and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement controls, policies, and procedures as required.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in the Information Security domain.
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux-based systems administration.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory and audit requirements for information security and data privacy issues.
  • Experience operating in a PCI compliance context.
