The company is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri with staff in Los Angeles and Hawaii. This is a remote position; one may work remote or from either our Kansas, LA, or Hawaii offices.
The person who fills this role will need to be able to perform a wide variety of tasks across several technical disciplines. Teamwork, problem-solving, personal responsibility and open-mindedness are all important traits for this position. This is a hands-on engineering position as you will be building real-world applications.

Day-to-day responsibilities
- Work with product engineering to define the architecture of the test environment.
- Define, implement and enforce organizational best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Build our test system into a robust first-class citizen in the internal development process.
- Develop the test system into a cross-platform product that 3rd parties will utilize within custom hardware environments.
- Develop test infrastructure and custom automation tools
- Work collaboratively with our open source community
Qualifications
- Be familiar with different kinds of testing such as unit, integration, and user experience.
- Industry experience designing, developing, and utilizing test automation software to verify functional correctness, system performance, scalability, etc.
- Value and be proficient in managing documentation, issue tracking, testing and release management.
- Experience working with diverse roles including product design, software and firmware development, testing and deployment.
- Familiar with real-time embedded software and server-side applications products.
- Experience evaluating software architectures and designs to identify potential quality, performance and scalability weaknesses or limitations and developing an automated test regimen
- Knowledge of security, “zero knowledge security systems”
Salary range: $90k - $120k
