Job Description

Legend by Xplor are looking for a QA Lead Automation Engineer to join our technology team.

Reporting into the Head of Software Development, you will lead a team of Automation Engineers, and manage and grow a large suite of automated tests.

You will work with a passionate software development team in an agile environment. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the QA team and Product Managers to ensure the highest quality of software delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.

This is a remote-first position. We welcome applications from across the globe, but the ideal applicant would be able to work within the UK timezone.

Your responsibilities will include:
•    Leading and managing a team QA Automation Engineers.
•    Managing and maintaining a large suite of automated tests in Selenium.
•    Taking partial responsibility, along with the QA Manager, for quality assurance across a set of applications with a large and varied codebase.
•    Designing, Developing and Executing Test Scripts in Selenium C#.
•    Balancing automating a large manual regression suite, while also providing automation coverage for new features.
•    Working closely with the Development Teams to ensure that new functionality has proper test coverage.
•    Driving adoption of Behaviour-Driven Development across the Sprint Teams.



Qualifications

•    Significant experience writing tests in Selenium, in high quality C#.
•    Significant experience in testing web applications and writing automation scripts.
•    Experience working with remote-first distributed teams.
•    A good understanding of the software and test lifecycle.
•    Experience with Continuous Integration and Test Pipelines (such as TeamCity, Octopus, Azure Devops)
•    An understanding of issue management tools like Jira and X-ray.
•    An understanding of software architecture in the context of Quality Assurance.
•    Experience with testing APIs using Postman.
•    A working knowledge of SQL.
