Job Description
We're looking for a Product Owner that will work closely with the engineering team and set the stage for the product organization moving forward. You will be responsible for managing the product roadmap, user stories, timelines, and implementation strategy for the Bunnyshell platform.
You will collaborate closely with the executive team for strategic vision alignment, the engineering team, and UX designer for fast iterations. On a typical day, you will be talking to customers, conducting user research, forming a go-to-market strategy with the executive team, and collaborating on key technical architecture/resourcing decisions.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Will own the product roadmap and lifecycle.
- Will spend significant time with customers (and customer-facing teams) and observe patterns/trends across their feedback and the larger market.
- Will perform user-based research to collect feedback and drive future product direction.
- Will translate market needs, customer requests, and business goals into clearly defined product requirements and functional specifications.
- Will be the go-to product expert for other internal teams, sales, marketing, customers, and partners.
- Will work closely with marketing, success, sales, and support teams to take products to market.
- Will collaborate with the Sales, Support, Marketing and Engineering teams to ensure all steps of software development and release are successfully completed.
- Will help build out the product organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- You have 6+ years of leading project implementations in IT.
- You have a development background.
- You are familiar with cloud technologies.
- You are familiar with DevOps concepts and tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You have experience conducting user interviews and understanding both developer and general user journeys in detail.
- You have the ability to question, understand, and challenge product decisions and priorities.
- You're an excellent communicator.
- You're open-minded.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior technical coding experience with DevOps environments.
- Prior software development experience, understanding of DevOps & GitOps workflow, and awareness of overall development environment life cycle.
