Symmetrical.ai is the first payroll solution you won’t hate. What does this mean?

We are a group of 80+ people who are making your payroll invisible. Our AI-based technology bundled with our team, the human face of payroll, lets us make your payroll run in the background of your daily operations. We simplify the way you hire and pay people and deliver a flexible, fast and easy payroll-related solution that works the same way across multiple geographies.

What we do

We help fast-paced companies to onboard at scale and run payroll invisibly. Instead of complicated processes and Excel spreadsheets, we make payroll and onboarding simple. We answer the problems that flexible workforce/gig companies face today:

• Help with growing the volume of employees
• Reduce your onboarding churn
• Speed up the onboarding process
• Provide, error-free, automated payroll data, ready to payout (weekly and monthly)

At this role you will be:

• Constantly seeking to understand the user needs and expectations
• Digging into the 'core' of a problem, wanting to understand 'how it works' down to the finest detail
• Collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams to define, evaluate, develop, and align on proposed solutions
• Drawing simple solutions out of complex requirements
• Turning insights into solutions, sketch and prototype to bring them to life, and ship features that improve our product
• Design user flows, interfaces and interactions that are simple and elegant
• Participate in user research and conduct usability testing
• Analyse user feedback and activity, and iterate to enhance the user experience
• Assist with content development

Requirements

You will set yourself apart, if you possess:

 

• At least 3 yrs of experience in Product Design / UI/UX fields or similar, documented with a strong portfolio and case studies (preferably demonstrating that you can design products based on business goals)
• Interdisciplinary knowledge in the field product strategy
• Ability to search for references of solutions from competitors, making creative use of such information and creating a solution tailored to the company's requirements
• Proactivity - Continuous involvement in the development of the product’s features, proposing new solutions
• Passion to look for the simplest possible solutions in the thicket of information
• Assertiveness and the ability to critically evaluate the proposed solutions (being able to express own opinion supported by knowledge about the product and the user)
• Experience with Figma and advanced prototyping tools
• Understanding specifics of B2B and B2C products
• Experience in web and mobile apps
• Understanding of systems thinking and component-based design patterns.
• Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English
