DACH Partner Business Manager
The position is for a Partner Business Manager who will contribute to building our DACH & French region.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, recruit & manage regional System Integrator partners in the DACH region
  • Develop joint relationships, initiatives, and programs for long-term sustained joint account success
  • Influence partner leadership to partner for short and long-term revenue growth while at the same time, building sustainable, trusting relationships.
  • Align closely with the regional Whatfix sales leads to ensure the identification, pursuit, closure, and tracking of customer opportunities.
  • Identify the right opportunities through account mapping and joint marketing initiatives with a focus on business development and sourcing partner deals.
  • Manage and collaborate with the partner to define and execute joint sales and Go to Market (GTM) programs
  • Assist the partner team with the expansion strategy into target accounts by educating the partner on Whatfix’s overall capability
  • Plan sales campaigns in conjunction with partner executives and lead efforts to ensure the delivery of all technical resources into the sales campaigns of our partner.
  • Collaborate with partner’s product managers, evangelizing and enabling them on Whatfix

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent business experience
  • 8-12 years of total experience
  • 4-6 years of partner management experience, preferably from within a SaaS/ISV organization
  • Fluent in German, both spoken and written (French is a bonus)
  • Experience driving partner go-to-market campaigns that include cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, and partners
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives
  • Experience owning, driving, and managing partnerships against quarterly targets
  • Excellent communicator and active listener with a strong sense of ownership in the work
  • Skilled in negotiating contracts and growth plans with current and prospective partners

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • You will have previously had a business development role in a fast-growing enterprise SaaS environment, particularly in a mid-stage start-up and ideally in a market-leading Software Application company (eg. CM, ERP, HCM, SCM).
  • Proven track record of partnerships/alliances experience in Germany and EMEA and a deep understanding of selling SaaS products through & with partners into large enterprises.
  • You believe in what Whatfix is creating, and you understand how to build partnerships and solutions that support the long-term vision.
  • Intellectually curious – you ask open-ended questions and are genuinely interested in learning about your partner's and customer’s needs.
  • Competitive - you want to win and consistently overachieve targets.
  • Articulate - you have strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively.
  • Passionate - you are excited about technology, software, and how it helps businesses succeed.
  • Cross-cultural – you like working with many types of people across multiple geographies and languages
