Operations Supervisor (Coordinator)

Role Overview:

Large, aggressively growing consumer health company with a strong online presence is searching for a self-motivated, experienced Operations Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a full time remote position which can be based anywhere in the USA/Canada. 

As our Operations Supervise you will provide high level support to the Operations Team within the division through the performance of a variety of tasks related to communication, administration, analysis supply chain and logistics to ensure the efficient and professional operation of the division.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work together with the operations team to ensure finished goods purchase orders are placed in a timely manner, securing the appropriate ship dates required to deliver the product when required 
  • Manage order processing, order maintenance and invoicing for our ecom accounts
  • Ensuring that orders are fulfilled on time, accurately, and in accordance with strict partner guidelines.
  • Manage day-to-day operations related to e-commerce fulfillment and returns (Sales Orders, Returns, Refunds, Shipments and Invoices entry)
  • Troubleshoot and implement solutions for fulfillment issues
  • Enter product line sheets, customer data, and processed orders utilizing ERP software
  • Provide timely financial, inventory and sales reports as requested
  • Multi-task multiple projects simultaneously, while keeping track of all deliverable and deadlines.
  • Excellent follow-up and superior attention to detail is critical in this role
  • Ensure data quality and completeness of all records
  • Work closely with the 3rd party warehouse and align on ship dates and routing guides
  • Assist in inventory and system reconciliations when necessary
  • Manage organization's financial administrative responsibilities including documenting/processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Review Amazon operational costs and identify ways to reduce/eliminate them through process, technology or people.
  • Assist in managing our 3P partners and reporting any concerns to leadership
  • Build financial models showing operational costs and analyze forecast variances to determine key variance drivers.
  • Perform forecasting and planning to ensure optimal inventory levels at all times
  • Effectively manage communication with Sales Ops, Manufacturers, 3PL, and carrier companies
  • Prepares timely and accurate accounting transactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • 1-3 years of working experience within operations, supply chain, and/or logistics required
  • High analytic and financial acumen with a desire to problem solve
  • At least 2-3 years working primarily with eCommerce platforms (Amazon) and understanding FBA processes/requirements.
  • Experience with seller central
  • Experience working with ERP systems, specifically Netsuite required
  • Great at working cross functionally with other business units
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Basic A/P and A/R knowledge, basic accounting experience
  • Shipstation experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with warehouse and fulfillment practices and activities
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment with multiple key stakeholders
  • Ability to problem solve and work under tight deadlines and schedules
  • An inquisitive mind with a passion for problem solving
  • Familiarity with project management
