ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Marketing Communications Manager, you’ll oversee community events, social media, and content marketing for Fullstack’s portfolio of tech bootcamps and university partnership programs. You’ll conceptualize events, experiences, and compelling content for our community members that build evangelists for our immersive education programs. The Marketing Communications Manager will lead a team of professionals who specialize in events, social media, and content marketing.
This is a full-time, remote role that will report to the Director of Marketing. This role may require travel at such a time as it is both safe and strategically meaningful to do so.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will:
- Build and oversee a strategic plan for communications and audience engagement initiatives across multiple marketing channels, ensuring that activities align with the Fullstack Academy brand and achieve established goals.
- Manage the events strategy for Fullstack bootcamps and our university partner programs, ensuring that outreach and initiatives are meeting business objectives and serving our student populations.
- Drive awareness and engagement with target audiences by developing and executing an organic social media strategy for our brands.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, industry leaders, students, and alumni.
- Research and execute opportunities in the marketplace to grow brand awareness and enrollments for our programs.
- Manage partnership launch deliverables from ideation to execution.
- Collaborate with the Design/Multimedia team on the development of creative assets for events, community initiatives, partnerships, and strategic projects.
- Coordinate timely promotional efforts to grow event participation, working with the Marketing team and external partners to develop event communications.
- Track marketing KPIs for the channels and initiatives you oversee, ensuring that resources are aligned with the highest value for our time.
- Assist with other Marketing projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a great candidate if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, including social media, event management, and content marketing
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong proficiency with social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, etc)
- Proficiency with event management platforms (Eventbrite and Meetup), presentation tools (Powerpoint, Keynote, etc), and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and/or public speaking skills and the ability to change approaches and messages based on the differing needs of different audiences
- Experience partnering with multiple departments in a rapidly changing environment, including the functions of performance marketing, academics, enrollment, student support, and career success
- The ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy
- A strong work ethic and experience developing effective communication strategies under time constraints
- Ability to process and prioritize requests from multiple departments and teams
- A passion for tech, education, and helping others that inspires excitement about our mission
You are an exceptional candidate for this role if you also have:
- Marketing experience in education, edtech, or technology
- Experience creating content and digital experiences about technology, the technology industry, or people in tech
- Formal education in Marketing or content-focused discipline (Communications, English, Literature, Journalism, etc.)
Colorado Equal Pay For Equal Work Act disclosure:
The expected compensation for this role for candidates from Colorado is $85,000-90,000 per year, plus Short Term Incentive Bonus and benefits, for candidates who fulfill the qualifications for the role. Candidates whose qualifications are above those listed are encouraged to apply as well. All final offers to candidates will be based on that candidate's unique experience and skillset, and not all candidates will qualify for the top of the salary range.
