Scenic West Design is looking for a Lead UX/Product Designer to manage design work for client projects. You’ll be collaborating with our internal Product Managers and UX/UI Designers to create engaging, innovative B2B SaaS, Edu Tech, and/or Ecommerce experiences. Day to day design work includes leading client design meetings, creating design deliverables, overseeing task breakout for supporting designers, providing design feedback, and other work to support our client work. You'll work directly with the CEO to help grow our design team and improve internal design processes. We're a remote-first team, with an office in Chattanooga if you ever need a change of scenery.
Requirements
- You have 5+ year of digital product design experience that includes B2B SaaS product work
- You have 2+ years of Figma experience including creating design systems and clickable prototypes
- You have experience leading UX/UI design work for SaaS products and managing stakeholders
- You have experience leading product discovery work, including user research, competitor research, design workshops, etc.
- You have experience working with Agile teams and understand Scrum and Kanban.
- You have experience creating new style guides and expanding existing design systems
- You have experience doing UX audits or CRO audits
- You enjoy collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or have completed a product design/ux training program
- You have strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic
- You have experience working remote
- You are familiar with Trello, Slack, Google Drive, JIRA, etc.
- Agency or freelance experience
- Live in the Chattanooga area
Nice to Haves
- Edu Tech and/or Ecommerce Experience
- Experience with HotJar, UserTesting.com, or other similar tools
- Experience with Agile product management work such as backlog prioritization, writing user stories, etc.
