As a Sr. (or Lead) Software Engineer for our Full Stack Engineering team, you will lead a small team of skilled full stack engineers responsible for developing a dapp interoperability platform and backend to Web3. You will focus on delivering highly scalable REST API servers, GRAPHQL Servers, and routers/load balancers to route transactions and queries to various database servers we’ve deployed within in our hosted platform.
Responsibilities
- You will lead a small team building scalable RESTful services/APIs and GraphQL API servers
- Build authentication services to authenticate API clients
- Develop API services that automatically/dynamically configure based on database table views
- Delivering tools and frameworks to ensure the security and stability of high availability systems based on CQRS concepts
- Implement common APIs based on architecture guidelines and frameworks
- Write object-oriented, clean, and maintainable code- delivering quality results on time with minimal supervision
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field. Masters or PhD a plus.
- 4+ years full stack engineering deploying REST API and GraphQL API services
- 5+ years experience with Java is required
- 2+ years experience as a team lead, manager, or principal engineer
- Rock solid engineering fundamentals on full stack, RESTful services, and authentication mechanisms
- Solid experience with various authentication types and building services that scale API requests
- Experience with rapid development cycles and strong scripting and test automation knowledge
- Ability to engage senior business leaders and translate between the needs of the business and the demands of / capacities of technology
- Nice to have: Passionate about Web3, blockchain, decentralization, and a base understanding of how the Web3 stack leverages APIs (web.js, Ethereum.js, GraphQL, etc)
