Splyt’s InfoSec Team help the company to strategise, form and implement the Information Security Roadmap, which will ensure that our employees, partners and stakeholders are protected from advancing threats in an increasingly technically complex world.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement information security policies, standards and documentation ensuring compliance with all applicable legal or regulatory legislation
- Work as an Information Security Auditor to define, maintain and implement an audit framework and schedule in compliance with security policies and standards
- Actively critiquing the security controls across the business in all security domains, helping to identify control gaps, suggesting remediation items and tracking the progress and implementation of changes,
- Maintain certification to ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials against a backdrop of evolving regulations, technology and processes
- Work closely with the Cyber Security Analysts to maintain the cyber incident management process and develop the appropriate document repositories operational schedules and processes
- Maintain awareness of current and emerging security risks and the changing threat landscape and recommend mitigating solutions to architects, solution designers, project managers and developers to help ensure security enhancement and controls are proactively applied.
- Assist in the evaluation of third-party supplier's security maturity due diligence questionnaires and assist business partners and security questionnaires during tender and bid process.
Requirements
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience in information security, compliance, risk management, auditing or a similar field
- Bachelor's degree in an IT related course (preferred but not essential) or equivalent experience in computer science, IT, business, or related field
- Experience with report writing, creating metrics, or risk management is desirable
- Understanding of general security practices such as cloud security, encryption, IAM, security information and event management etc.
- Ability to talk technically with Cyber Analysts, and relay information back to the business
- Knowledge of Secure Software Development Lifecycle and embedding security testing throughout the lifecycle
- Able to build and maintain strong stakeholder relations across the business
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to learn and embrace new solutions and technologies
- Audit background helpful but not essential
- Industry certification such as CISA or CISSP desirable, or willing to pursue relevant qualifications
