Global Talent Acquisition Specialist - mat leave

The role involves

  • Full cycle recruitment of our global roles across all product lines (we operate in 5 main regions and have three distinct business units)

  • Working in coordination with our other in house recruiter(s) to ensure capacity is level across the whole organization’s hiring needs 

  • Maintaining at least 10-15 requisitions simultaneously with a target time to hire of 8 weeks on average

  • Staying within the overall hiring budget for roles including obtaining formal approvals for all offers 

  • Facilitating positive reviews, feedback and ratings from our candidates regarding their hiring experience

  • Negotiating offers and positioning of employer value proposition to potential hires 

  • Drafting offer letters, and other HRIS related documents required as part of pre-hire

  • Update recruitment tracker for to ensure key metrics are tracked for weekly reporting

  • Where necessary, working with agencies for hard to fill roles and being the central contact

 

The ideal candidate

  • Previous experience in recruitment, utilizing recruitment tools and HR platforms, including ATS’s, HRIS’s and social media platforms

  • A passion for creating an awesome candidate experience including gathering feedback and responding in a timely manner to all applicants with thoughtfulness

  • Previous experience in a tech sector recruiting environment and managing at least 10 roles simultaneously

  • A mixture of corporate and agency experience would be considered an asset

  • Exceptional organizational skills and a great eye for detail as you’ll be required to draft employment offers

  • Comfortable with public speaking or networking and building a positive employer brand

  • Ability to understand hiring manager needs, a great communicator who can build rapport through their working relationship
