Today, data cloud (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, etc) users suffer from unexpected incidents, slowness, and huge bills. The founders are big data domain experts [1, 2] with 3 decades of cumulative experience solving similar problems across Google, Hadapt, Vertica, Uber, Dropbox, Facebook, and Yahoo, and thought leaders in the big data industry. Our founding team consists of 10x engineers and PM from world leading tech companies such as FAANG, Microsoft, Palantir and Uber. We are privileged to have received funding from top-tier VCs, angels and big data luminaries such as founders of Cloudera and Qubole.

We are looking for a full time Founding Marketing Lead, with enterprise SaaS experience to help drive all marketing related functions, ranging from lead gen to branding and PR.  As a founding team member, you will be responsible for critical business decisions that will shape the company, and influence the Cloud and Data industries for the years to come. Background and Skills

  • Strong experiences in marketing leadership in enterprise SaaS. Prior experiences in data infra products are a plus, but a strong interest is required.

  • Experience in building out and refining marketing functions.

  • Growth mindset: Fast learner, adaptive, and takes initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Extreme ownership: Take a vague task from concept to fruition.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead generation: Develop various inbound and outbound marketing channels. 

  • Manage, support, and mentor the internal marketing and BDR functions. Set up, configure, and manage internal CRM tools.

  • Content marketing and management, including website, blog posts, social media presence, podcast, etc. Build and drive a content calendar.

  • Event marketing: Find and attend relevant industry events; set up our own in person events and webinars.

  • Manage PR, including branding, logo and other artifact design.

  • Social media and community management: Define and execute a community strategy.

  • Develop cross functional strategy with the sales and deployment teams to generate strategic sales narrative.

  • Product marketing: Initially support internal and external experts in content creation and the definition of product messaging; over the time taking on a driver’s role.
