We are looking for an experienced operations and customer support leader who will be instrumental in helping Order solidify and scale a world-class customer experience.
Reporting to the SVP of Operations, the Director of Operations will be responsible for driving strategy and execution of key functions on the front lines of Order. Ideal candidates are self-starters, build high performing teams that celebrate wins and learn at every opportunity, and are looking to help shape the future of spend management.
What you’ll do
Oversee the day-to-day deployment of resources (hiring, staffing, scheduling) across operations and support groups
Identify and implement short- and long-term opportunities to iterate, optimize, and automate our support and operations workflows
Manage and maximize the efficacy of offshoring work to virtual assistants in an effort to improve service levels at reasonable costs
Oversee quality and training programs across teams
Clearly and concisely surface data-backed, actionable insights and/or recommendations to key stakeholders throughout the organization
Work cross-functionally to improve internal cohesion and collaboration in service of Order’s customers
Develop and upskill our talented crop of managers and leads
You are an analytical and data-driven decision-maker, problem solver, and builder
You are able to comfortably navigate between high-level strategic planning and hands-on execution work
You are a confident communicator and presenter and are able to effectively collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders
You are proficient in Zendesk (required), Excel/Sheets (required), and SQL/BI tools (preferred)
You have experience in high growth, high speed, high innovation environments, ideally within tech/startup ops or success, e-commerce, or consulting
