Director of Sales

The Director of Sales role is ideal for a sales professional who is results-driven. The Director of Sales will be responsible for building business by identifying and selling ZERO-G charters, sections, groups, and bulk gift certificate programs to the corporate, incentive, and promotions sectors as well as the general public.  This position is 100% remote and, as a member of a geographically dispersed team, requires the ability to work independently, has self-motivation,  outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills. Occasional travel is required.

Requirements 
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without a sponsorship
  • Located within the U.S.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Apps (both preferred)
  • Able to work independently, as well as collaboratively 
  • Possess strong organizational skills and is detail-oriented
  • Able to work from home online with a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection
  • Marketing, Advertising and/or Sales strategy experience preferred
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years relevant sales experience preferred with prior sales leadership roles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years relevant sales experience preferred with prior sales leadership roles
Responsibilities
  • Managing incoming leads for charter, sections, groups, and promotions
  • Preparing and implementing a strategy for a world-wide referral agent/marketing partner network.
  • Managing the referral agent/marketing partner network
  • Developing and implementing strategy, tactics, an outbound sales plan, and profit targets
  • Preparing and delivering weekly sales and a pipeline report
  • Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
  • Maintaining key customer relationships, develop and implement strategies to generate new business for the Company through customer referral and incentive programs
  • Making telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Researching sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Developing clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Coordinating sales effort with management, program operations, and aircraft operations departments.
  • Keeping abreast of market conditions and activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature
  • Representing the Company at networking events, trade shows, and conventions.
  • Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
Details
  • Salary range $90,000 - 100,000 annually, plus commission
