Clipper/x-Base Developer

Our Client is a global specialty plastics manufacturer with about a dozen 16bit applications written in Clipper. The client  has been running these older apps on an MS DOS emulator (VDOS) running on a 64 bit platform, and there is concern that this work around will, in time, not work. As such, the client intends to re-create these apps using a more modern x-Base language. 

Required Experience:

• x-Base++;

• Advantage DB;

• Clipper;

• Shop Floor systems;

• Inventory Management systems;

• Some QA experience.

 

Preferred Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related, or 7 years equivalent work experience;

• Have worked with international and remote teams;

• Have excellent written and oral communication skills;

• Advanced English.
