Opportunity

Axcel has recently acquired a flagship asset in the professional education space and is seeking a high-quality operator who wants to be an integral part of a humble, exceptional team.   We are looking for a dynamic, analytical, self-motivated individual who is excited about a high-growth environment and has the ability to empower others.  This leader will step in and grow this business organically and evaluate inorganic growth (M&A) opportunities.

This role provides a unique opportunity for meaningful responsibility on day one.  The CEO will benefit from mentorship from the Axcel team and Alpine Investor’s PeopleFirst™ Leadership Program which offers the support of an experienced facilitator and coach.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement scalable and efficient strategies to ensure consistent results and growth the business 15% YoY

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the company

  • Be a true player/coach who is equally comfortable guiding and mentoring others as well as rolling up sleeves and diving in

  • Maintain a positive and continuously developing culture while leading the charge towards growth

  • Clear roadblocks, mediating disputes, and celebrate successes

 What You’ll Bring

  • MBA from top school preferred

  • 2+ years in an operation management role

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting

  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance, etc.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to communicate at all levels; even better listening skills

  • A self-reliant, adaptable, and a “figure it out” mentality

  • Strategic growth mindset and strong business acumen

  • Enthusiastic, personable, positive attitude, and high integrity

  • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
