We are looking for a Business Operations & Strategy Manager who is scrappy, highly analytical, and thrives in a startup environment. This person will lead the charge in using data to understand the business and help answer important data-driven questions. Working closely with the leadership team, the Business Operations & Strategy Manager will find meaningful insights and provide strategic perspectives for scaling the business, reaching goals, and unlocking new growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build models on key business metrics, forecasts, and assumptions to help inform growth strategies and support the company's fundraising activities
  • Analyze data across consumer behavior, market trends, sales performance, and other cross-functional areas to find insights and identify growth opportunities
  • Gain a deep understanding of complex marketplace dynamics and build robust supply and demand models
  • Navigate consumer marketing KPIs with the goal of informing consumer marketing strategies and optimizing user-acquisition performance
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis for various stakeholders based on evolving business needs
  • Improve operational efficiencies and processes by connecting the dots between cross-functional teams/KPIs

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a highly analytical and operational role at a fast-growing tech company and/or in a consulting/finance role
  • Strong business acumen with ability to approach complex business problems in a structured way
  • Strong analytic skills and proficiency with Excel and SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools and analytical platforms
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with different stakeholders
  • Excellent project management and critical thinking skills
  • Experience at a marketplace or B2C company a plus
