Job Description

The Manager of Business Development is responsible for driving Rodeo Production’s business plan and working on increasing its revenue growth, identifying new opportunities for future projects and converting the company’s strategic vision across all services into tangible actions.

The Manager of Business Development also leads sales and client relationship management, tracks new markets and emerging trends, maintains existing relationships and partnerships and ensures Rodeo Production’s revenue targets are met through marketing, sales and company growth.

  • Work with the General Manager to identify, develop and establish strategic plans for growth;

  • In conjunction with the GM, put in place a strategy and action plan to achieve annual revenue targets set by the GM and CEO;

  • Act as a brand ambassador for all of Rodeo Production’s services;

  • Actively track, monitor and report Rodeo Production’s competitive environment as well as industry trends and advancements in innovation that can be used in strategic planning;

  • Help identify new and innovative business opportunities;

  • Support the Rodeo ADS sales team in different markets to ensure they achieve revenue goals and maintain healthy client relationships;

  • Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with clients and within the industry at large;

  • Work with finance to prepare the annual business development budget and sales forecasts. Analyse variances throughout the year and recommend or put in place corrective measures;

  • Work to continuously improve the business development tools, processes, workflow and structure (GSuite, Salesforce, Monday, Shotgrid etc..);

  • Establish and maintain standard dashboards and key performance indicators;

  • Ensure Salesforce (CRM) is up-to-date. In conjunction with the Growth Strategist, regularly analyze data and make recommendations;



Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar position, including significant experience with advertising agencies and production houses;

  • Bachelor degree  in Business Administration or another related field;

  • Fluent communication skills in English and French, spoken and written;

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite;

  • Confidentiality, discretion, organization, attention to details and initiative.
