About Our Customers
We support three different kinds of customer: publishers turning print books into digital experiences, edtech platforms looking for exciting new ways to engage students, and government or public institutions developing the curriculum for the future.
About The Role
We are expanding our Customer Success team, and we are looking for an Account Manager to grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, many of which are in the education technology or higher education industries in North America. Our team is creative, thoughtful, data-driven, and customer-centric. At Boclips, you will have the opportunity to create and implement strategies for customer success that will have large-scale impact on the company.
- You’ll develop deep insight into the industry, it’s drivers and the landscape in which each account operates including all the external factors affecting publishing.
- Understanding the decision-making frameworks of each account. This includes understanding our successes so far and where the opportunities for growth might be.
- Building account plans for each publisher will be a priority. Knowing each publishers’ strategic objectives will help us stay aligned with each customer and make sure we are delivering maximum value.
- Engaging at all levels, from the Courseware Designers right through to VP and decision-making level. You’ll appreciate that platform usage is what drives decisions to renew contracts.
- Interacting and collaborating across Boclips is super important. You will collaborate with our data team about customer metrics; Including platform usage and user search queries. Knowing this will give you a sense of the health of accounts.
- As the Boclips voice of the customer, you’ll eagerly gather feedback from customers and make sure it is addressed the Boclips product, technology, and content acquisition teams. You’ll collaborate with these teams to analyze and understand future product iterations that will be helpful to communicate to customers.
- Generate scalable revenue and hit target quota on a quarterly and annual basis
Requirements
Here's a few things we're looking for:
- You are a Relationship Manager from a solution-selling environment. (Technology solutions, SaaS or services would set you up well for this role).
- Some experience working with customer success would be nice.
- You can point to examples of accounts you have grown from scratch from onboarding, upselling through to contract renewal.
- You have an aptitude for creating positive and productive relationships driven by understanding needs and finding ways to create value for customers.
- You have great commercial instincts and you are creative when it comes to finding solutions for customers
- You’re a clear thinker and communicator. You’ll need this both when writing proposals and presenting to customers and updating internal teams.
- Experience with Hubspot would be ideal or other CRM tools
- You are a natural collaborator
- You are a fast learner
- You listen more than you talk.
