At RDX Works, we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to over $200 billion in a few years. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $400 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.
RDX went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solutionâthe first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFiâand we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.
We have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.
If this job sounds like it was made for you, then please apply directly via the link or if you donât have an up to date CV to apply with, contact paulina.baranowska@rdx.works for more information.

Alternatively, if you feel like you donât match all of the requirements, we would love you to still apply anyway. We understand that confidence gaps and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting incredible candidates and we wouldnât want this to prevent us from meeting you; especially as we are big advocates of helping people learn & grow. This is also another reason we do not advertise salaries, we want to keep it as even a playing field as possible!Â

Whilst it is possible to run completely âserver lessâ these days, that isnât always practical for all applications. Thus we still run a moderate cloud stack on the Google Cloud Platform. As you can see in the description of our stack, we use Hashicorpâs tools for deployment. That means a Consul + Vault cluster, and Nomad to schedule (container) jobs. That actually runs stable without too much maintenance. Most of the work is in improving the experience of other developers, and making it easier for them to do the things they need to do on the operations side.
For example, we use Terraform to control and set up our resources. However that doesnât mean that it is clear for everyone what to use and how to tie that together. Modularizing and documenting is key here. Also, we want to enable continuous integration, so everyone can see what the effect would be of their changes, without giving everyone the proverbial keys to the kingdom.
The rest of the team will look at you for advice on how to deploy their service, how to keep sight on its metrics and errors. Note that you are probably the one with the most knowledge, we do rotate on-call duties with the whole team.
The envisioned salary range for this position is â¬55-80k per year (excluding 8% holiday pay), depending on experience. Besides that we offer Stock Appreciation Rights and a 4% learning budget. Youâll get an Apple Macbook Pro (M1 or M2!) to work on.
Who you are:
\nYou are a skilled developer with a passion for infrastructure as a service including scalable and reliable systems, code quality, and engineering efficiency. As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will ensure the high-quality delivery of our software with a rapidly growing team, by building the frameworks and tools needed by software engineers and data scientists to thoroughly validate, deploy, and monitor their code. In this role, you will be a champion for best practices and a quality mentor to the rest of the engineering organization. A successful candidate will be a well-rounded engineer with experience in systems automation and tool development for a container based infrastructure, who thrives when solving diverse technical problems in a fast-paced environment.

Hello from Havoc Shield!Â
Weâre A Small Team of Passionate Technologists, Entrepreneurs, and Democratizers making a professional cybersecurity program accessible to small and vulnerable companies. Itâs kind of like TurboTax for small business cybersecurity in that we take the ocean of complexity that is risk mitigation, vendor management, policies, recovery, and orchestration and we bake it into a step by step action plan that non-experts can execute on.
At Havoc Shield, we know that the workplace dynamic is changing and we have changed with it. Your day will not be broken up into countless meetings, distractions that could wait and unnecessary fire-drills. We believe in small teams. Small teams are fast and nimble. Small teams mean less bureaucracy and less management and more getting things done.
Weâre looking for a Senior Software Engineer who has at least 6 years experience in backend web development, with at least two of those years working for a startup. Youâll ultimately own several software components, and youâll participate in product planning and testing.Â
Tech Stack: Our platform uses the PHP framework Laravel and the Javascript framework Vue tied together with the InertiaJS library for a SPA-like experience without the maintenance overhead. Our platform is backed by a MySQL database and relies on the N8N workflow engine and the RPA framework via Robocorp for out-of-band tasks. All of our servers are hosted on AWS, and our code is hosted on GitHub. Although we're currently a small team, we use modern methodologies, local environments coordinated by Docker, code reviews, continuous integration, etc. for software development.Â
About YouÂ
You love building. You have at least six years of experience as a Software Engineer building scalable web-applications, with at least two of those years working for a startup.Â
You excel working on a team and mentoring others. You enjoy being part of a team that solves problems together, collaborating on ideas and working to meet team goals. You like pairing up with teammates when someone gets blocked. You give and accept feedback professionally and donât let ego get in the way of delivering the best solution for the customer. You can summarize technical concepts effectively as you work with people from disciplines outside of engineering.
You love shipping to customers. Nothing we build matters if it isnât meeting customersâ needs. Youâll also learn to empathize with Havoc Shieldâs end users and add capabilities to the Platform that enable Havoc Shield to offer new products.Â
You love learning. Engineering is an ever-evolving world. You enjoy exploring areas that you might not have experience with yet. You have a balanced approach to adopting new tech vs using well-understood patterns.
Participate in product planning and testing; develop mostly backend software across infrastructure
Own several infrastructure component areas and supports all others
Operate and scale the systems you and your team build.
Dig into bugs and feature requestsÂ
Work and collaborate with colleagues to help them deliver value to customers in new and exciting ways
Havoc Shield strives to create transparency in compensation across our team in the pursuit of ensuring pay equality and trust. Weâre working on published pay bands for each role that will be available to all team members. We expect those pay bands to be published within Q4 2022. In the meantime, we highlight to employees that it is their right to discuss their compensation with others and always welcome conversations about the topic. We re-evaluate pay bands on an at least annual basis and perform individual compensation reviews bi-annually.
Weâre a growth-stage startup, and one that prizes the careful use of funds to protect our team members. We know we canât pay the same as a large tech company can, but we do reward employees who want to truly own what theyâre working on with significant equity. All full time team members receive equity options. These options are tied to what we can pay in cash and where the market is in terms of total compensation above that. We fill the gap with equity options valued at our last fundraising roundâs post-money valuation, of which value we strive to grow year over year. We regularly evaluate our equity option plan to introduce mechanisms and offerings to make understanding, exercising, and benefiting from your options. We know equity is a bet on the company, and so weâre doing everything we can to make sure that bet pays off. Ask us for more details - weâll be happy to talk about them.

ð Vital is looking for a passionate senior engineer to join us on our mission to revolutionise how healthcare is delivered today.
ð» Vital is an API for at-home health data, and we are making it easy for developers to build virtual-first healthcare apps on top of our platform. We have built a wearables API and at-home test kit API and our current docs can be found at docs.tryvital.io.
ð We are a seed-funded startup backed by some of the best investors like Y Combinator.
ð This is a fully remote position. However, you must be able to provide at least 4 hours of business overlap with GMT. We are not offering any visa sponsorships at this time.
ðªð½Â Some of the early challenges you could be working on:

ð You'll be a good fit if...
We're living in unprecedented times and, in many cases, feeling further apart from our coworkers and purpose than ever before.
The Captuure team is building Orson, a first of its kind platform that helps teams strengthen the connection to their teammates, work, and mission.
Oh, and greatly reduce synchronous meetings also, no big deal.
For the tech folks working on it? We get to build fast and compelling web and video processing, with a lot of fun challenges along the way and a level of autonomy and ownership that's missing from many teams.
In the first 6 months, you will:
In the next 2 years, you will:
We believe in moving fast, through good engineering practices. Deploys should be boring. We should know about bugs before customers can call, and fix them instead of putting them on the backlog. We're agile, taking the best from many methods, rather than following the One True Way. And we believe teams outperform individuals.
Benefits
We are a seed stage company, this comes with some limitations but also the benefits of joining the tight knit early team that will set the direction for years to come.
Most of our team is East coast US. We tend to collaborate strongly between 9AM-4PM ET and get together 2 - 4 times/year. We'd prefer candidates be East Coast or Central to balance overlapping work hours and keep travel times lower.
Captuure is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
The Opportunity
Bitcoin is reaching new all-time highs, but the real crypto revolution hasn't even begun. Distributed ledger technology has the potential to radically change the infrastructure of the global economy â from banking to payments, from trading to saving and investing. These deep changes will be coming over the next decade, and Nash wants to be the company that shapes the new blockchain-based financial space.
Our technology is already leading the industry. You can help us shape our growth trajectory and achieve our goal.
This role is remote, but for this specific position we are looking for a candidate based in Europe, South or North America.
How about being part of the real crypto revolution?
Company Intro
Nash is a regulated fintech platform where banking meets crypto. With bank accounts, DeFi-powered earnings and crypto trading all in one app, Nash bridges the gap between traditional and decentralized finance. Newcomers can access real crypto services in an app that feels just like the digital banking platforms they know. Experts can enjoy market-leading rates, next-gen wallet security and the convenience of one app for all their crypto needs.
Nash is an entirely remote company. We are interested in talent irrespective of location, and our setup allows for flexible hours and time management.
Role Description
We are looking for a Mobile Quality Assurance (QA) engineer, with React Native experience, to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)
The QA engineer role plays an important part in our company's product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we'd like to meet you.
Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Nash Perks
MacBook and more tech goodies
Work with other smart, ambitious, curious, and dependable colleagues
Token allocation and ESOP (employee stock options): we are all owners and shareholders of our company - Nashâs success is in our hands!
Unlimited vacation days
Company-wide gathering and team outings
Beautiful office in Amsterdam city centre
You will be part of a small, well connected engineering and product team, where youâll have the opportunity to wear many different hats, and hone your engineering craft in a variety of areas.
Weâre building an internal knowledge base tool used by thousands of users across the globe; we love to build new features and fix bugs that make customers smile on a daily basis.
We have a very short design to release cycle, and its not uncommon to fix and push a release to production in the same day or very next day (this makes us quite unique).
Your skill/experience:
We are looking for someone that is extremely motivated and excited by our product Tettra. Ideally the person will be located in Melbourne, and available for at least 1 face-to-face meeting monthly. We are an outcome, not hours driven company. So we are flexible about work arrangements that suit you and make you most productive.
Before applying or contacting us, please make sure you have taken the opportunity to checkout our app and even signup for a trial to get a feel for the product.
Hey, my name is Calvin, and I know how you feel.
Because...
Even though I am the founder of the successful online platform Simplero.com and â might I add â Iâve been blessed with a wonderful staff of intelligent and kind people from all over the globe, things were not always like this.
I spent many a dark hour figuring out why being awkward in the company of other human beings made me become great at developing software.
Part of that is probably that being broken and alone is a good motivator for developing skills as a programmer.
But for many other things in life?
Not so much.
Anyway, today Iâm happy to report that I enjoy the best parts of both sides.
The light side of having mastered the art of focus and logical thinking.
AND...
Having great relationships and being able to build a strong organization with an incredible team and massive growth potential.
But alas.
A dark and evil power is upon us.
And thisâ¦
...is where you enter the story.
You will be the Superman who is called upon to hammer the villains back into the abyss from whence they came.
Oops. I got carried away...I do that.Â
The truth is, Iâve become the bottleneck of my own success, and I need a few more exceptional people who can help in our fight against evil.
I mean that part, by the way. Jokes and corny comic book metaphors aside...what weâre doing is important. Weâre out to change the world, and we need your help.
So what do you say..?
Do you want to play, or donât you?
Under this youâll find the usual âfeatures and benefits,â but donât let that keep you from raising your hand if you feel a connection after reading this.
Your friend in the good fight,
âCalvin Correli
CEO and founder of Simplero
Whatâs in it for you:
Be your own manager with leeway to decide how you spend your time.
Youâll be able to point to exactly what you created, both features and open source projects that we release.
With just 4 engineers we created what other companies take armies to make, and we'll teach you how to do it yourself. Welcome to the 100x club!
You get to see how great it feels when you grant someone's wish that mighta took you 4 minutes, but totally makes their day!
Benefits:
4 weeks of paid vacation per year, increasing to 5 after three years. Plus 10 sick/health days and 10 national holidays. Time away from work brings fresh insights.
Wellness stipend to help pay for your gym. Deadlifts make you smarter.
We'll pay for a laptop or other gear you need to be productive.
Weâll pay for an audible membership. Books also make you smarter.
What sets Simplero apart:
No VCs. No outside funding. No exit strategy. We do it because we love it today, and want to continue doing this in perpetuity, not because we hope to make out like bandits in the future.
We're profitable and have been in business for 13 (!) years . It's a solid, stable, proven company, product, and model, not some fly-by-night operation or risky gamble.
We have 2,500+ active customers who have made well over $300M using Simplero. Weâre the real deal.
We're founded by a developer (Calvin) who is still personally and passionately leading Product and Engineering, so you've got deep technical understanding and support right from the top.
We solve real problems for real people that they're happy to pay us real money to solve for them. We go home each day knowing we made a difference in someone's life.
We have a strong community around us, and cherish our close and mutually respectful relationships with our customers. It feels good knowing the people weâre serving.
We do things differently from other companies. You'll see. We laugh a lot. We breathe. We care about our people. We support you on your journey.
What we absolutely require:
You gotta be very smart and very quick at \"getting\" stuff.
You gotta love creating software and building things. And be really good at it. You build software in your free time as a hobby because you canât not do it.
You have to be good at figuring stuff out that none of us have ever done before.
This is a big project, with lots of pieces. You've got to be good at reading code and quickly figuring out what's going on.
What we could care less about:
# years of experience. You probably started when you were a kid, anyway.
A university degree, especially PhD's or degrees in computer science. We're not scientists, we're engineers. (We do have a soft spot for physics majors, tho.)
Simplero is a freedom machine: We help our customers escape corporate jobs and create a living doing something that is meaningful to them, independent of time and place.

Simplero was founded by and is led by Calvin Correli, whoâs a very talented developer himself. He's been programming since he was a kid, and has been on Rails since 2005. In fact, he built the third ever production app on Rails, an intranet for Greenpeace International.
Simplero is a Software as a Service \"Business OS for the Fortune 5,000,000\". It helps customers run their companies with simplicity and joy, by automating their systems. It's effective at online courses, coaching programs, and other types of information products, and our members teach anything from business and marketing, to how to rent out your house on AirBnB, to yoga and meditation and how to live a happy life.
We have an incredible, dedicated team and over 2500 amazing customers with a total reach of over 16 million people all over the world.
No matter how powerful and flexible you build a platform, at the end of the day itâs the experience you can give the user that matters. Radix is seeking a savvy frontend development expert to help build the tools that will define the future of decentralized finance (DeFi) and Web3.0 user experience.
DeFi and Web3.0 have turned out to be the killer apps that are taking public distributed ledgers from niche products for speculators and hobbyists to projects of global economic significance, and with them have come a new paradigm for user interfaces. Authentication models, interoperability expectations, and the entire concept of user accounts are all undergoing dramatic changes; at Radix youâll have the opportunity to define the way forward while working at the very cutting edge of a space undergoing furious growth.
Your initial focus will be development of full-stack typescript applications and integrated backend services spanning web and mobile devices that get users, their identity, and their assets connected to DeFi and Web3.0 applications on the Radix network. Working from Figma prototypes and pre-defined network APIs you will work within our Core Apps team to build and maintain web applications that interact with our unique mobile app, backend infrastructure to connect web and mobile experiences, and SDKs and technologies that developers will use to create their own web applications that interact with our mobile app.
Youâre a confident coder who likes to work at the user interface level, and you have built public-facing websites or applications in Typescript in the past.
Youâre a generalist, and have experience building REST services and/or WebSocket backends.
You are a researcher and enjoy requirements engineering for SDK development.Â
You like to actively shape designs and play with ideas as you build, and are comfortable iterating until it feels just right.
Youâre able to isolate the 90% case for user experiences. Â
You think in terms of making the most common interactions effortless, rather than making anything possible.
Youâre intelligent and learn quickly. Absolutely no one at Radix winds up only doing whatâs in their job description, and adaptability is essential.
4+ years as a professional software engineer in full-stack development
You are fluent in Typescript.
You have SDK development experience.
You know how to work with complex APIâs (ideally WebRTC, WebAuthn, etc)
You excel at researching and requirements gathering.
Youâre enthusiastic about working in a multidisciplinary team with mobile engineers.Â
DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to over $200Â billion in a few years.
If this job sounds like it was made for you, then please apply directly via the link or email errico.dipiazza@rdx.works for more information. Â
Check out our company benefits here - RDX Works Benefits Â
Alternatively, if you feel like you donât match all of the requirements, we would love you to still apply anyway. We understand that confidence gaps and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting incredible candidates and we wouldnât want this to prevent us from meeting you; especially as we are big advocates of helping people learn & grow. This is also another reason we do not advertise salaries, we want to keep it as even a playing field as possible!Â
